Personal Coaching
We all have those times when it seems like everything is changing all at once -- life is coming at you faster than you can manage. Or maybe it's just one thing, but it's rippling through the rest of your life. You think everything is all lined up and, surprise (sometimes wham!) your life has come unglued. Or you feel like you've been on hold forever and you know you have to get things moving. These are the times when a Personal Coach can be extremely useful. With a coach, you gain perspective and find focus. From your heart, your re-design your life in ways that make more sense for who you really are and where you want to go.
I recently experienced the grounded and peaceful
feeling of being absolutely comfortable with who I am. It was immensely satisfying and joyful. Working with Elmdea was fundamental in my journey to this place. I
am so grateful for her guidance." - bj, MD
Generally, coaching is at least a 6 month commitment of your time and your effort. There aren't any silver wands or silver bullets (sorry, I know it would be nice, but it just doesn't work that way.) It takes time to change old behaviors, habits, and thoughts. You want to make sure that what you change is deeply internalized and you are willing to make the investment of your time and your effort.
Each coaching engagement includes an on-line Personal Directions Assessment. (See Management Research Group in Links.) If you have any questions, or if you would like to set up a free one-hour coaching session, please call or e-mail us.
I just wanted to let you know that my time with you as a life coach has truly empowered me. Where once I was simply overwhelmed with questions and uncertainty I find that I now have clarity and courage in many areas of myself where I was afraid to venture. Our time together has allowed me to see my strengths and weaknesses and shown me how to balance myself within the reality of my own capabilities and my needs. You never judged me or caused me to feel self conscious or uncomfortable about being completely honest with you. Thank you so very much. "

Coaching is not about teaching the caterpillar how to fly; it's about creating an opening for it to see the possibility.
